Certifika

A seal that tells you who to trust.

Certifika certifies Peruvian nonprofits working in health and education. It checks that they use the money they receive well and report it clearly.

The problem

Giving in Peru is an act of faith

Donors rarely know how much of their gift reaches the beneficiary. Each institution presents its figures its own way, and almost none compare them with others.

In Switzerland the Zewo seal fills that gap, but it only certifies Swiss organizations. Certifika brings that idea to Peru.

What it assesses

Five areas

%BENE

At least 65% of spending goes directly to beneficiaries.

Finances

Complete financial statements, with expenses classified under a single rule.

Governance

Leadership that truly oversees and manages conflicts of interest.

Transparency

Clear public information for donors and beneficiaries.

Results

Evidence of what the institution achieves with its programs.

Who it's for

Two sides of the same trust

If you give: the seal tells you the institution passed an independent review and shows you its %BENE.

If you run an institution: the seal helps you reach donors who don't know you yet and gives you a diagnosis to improve.
